  • 25 g yeast, (I use fresh yeast)
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 gram plain wheat flour

Sådan gør du

  • 1: dissolve the yeast in the water and knead the other things in (not all the flour at once) - the dough must be slightly moist and smooth, so that it is easy to work with. 
    2: Let the dough raise for about 1 hour so with a lid or a plastic bag to cover
    3: Divide the dough into 8-9 equal buns (or more if you only want small envelopes)
    4: Roll each bun completely thin and flat
    5: Heat a large forehead and avoid greasing it
    6: Fry each bread for about 1 minute on each side until it has small fine black and brown spots on both sides
    7: served hot or cold with cacik, köfte or different meze or stews
